Antique Victorian ring featuring five diamonds set into a 15ct rose gold band. The ring has a number of hallmarks indicating the piece was marked in Chester, England in 1882.
This style of the ring would have been an engagement ring, giving diamonds as an engagement / wedding ring dates back to the middle ages. Diamonds symbolise innocence and love, they are the birthstone of April.
