Antique Art Deco gemstone ring featuring a central blue sapphire alongside two diamonds set in 18ct yellow gold. The ring is hallmarks with the stamp 18ct and PLAT.
HALLMARKS
The hallmarks are very worn although you can see faintly a 'P' indicating the piece is platinum and 18ct.

The setting of the ring measures 1.2cm / 0.4" in length, 0.4cm / 0.17" in height and 0.3cm / 0.13" in depth. The band of the ring measures 1.2mm.

CONDITION
The ring is in excellent condition, under a 20 x microscope you can see the sapphire has two very fine chips. These are not visible to the naked eye. This could have be caused when the stone was set or just from age.
