Antique Art Deco (1920-1935) Yellow Gold Heart Locket

Antique yellow gold heart locker dating back to the 1920's 'Art Deco' era. This gorgeous locket features a spray of sun rays etched onto a highly shined smooth surface. On the underside of the locket the words '9CT BK & FT' are marked indicating the piece is 9ct gold on the front and back. The locket is an excellent example of Art Deco jewellery showcasing the use of linear and geometric design.
The Locket is perhaps the most mysterious and alluring pieces of jewellery. Only the wearer knows what secrets lie within the locket. It has to be the ultimate love token.

The locket measures 2cm / 0.8" in width and 2cm / 0.7" in width and 3mm / 0.1" in thickness. The pendant hangs from a new 9ct yellow gold chain.

The locket is in excellent antique condition, the locket closes securely and the piece is free of dents and scratches.
