Antique Edwardian 1906 sterling silver button hole holder also known as a boutonniere. This elegant piece is designed to sit in the button hole of a gentleman's jacket. This miniature vase would have been used to hold a small vile of water and a single flower, allowing the flower to keep fresh throughout the day. This piece is perfect for a groom on his special day.
The piece has a number of hallmarks indicated it was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1906-1907 by H.M from sterling silver.
