Antique Edwardian Ring featuring an oval Moonstone gemstone set into a 9ct yellow gold setting. The moonstone is claw set into a gold setting with cut outs underneath and on the side of the setting allowing the light to hit the beautiful moonstone.
The ring is small in size, it is very comfortable to wear and could be worn on the pinky finger.
HISTORY
Moonstone has been used in jewellery for millennia, including ancient civilisations. The Romans admired moonstone, as they believed it was born from solidified rays of the Moon. Both the Romans and Greeks associated moonstone with their lunar deities.
