Reserved - Antique Edwardian Emerald Diamond Daisy Ring
Description
Emerald mines have been found to date back as far as Queen Cleopatra. Emerald symbolism encompasses not only royalty but also wit, eloquence, and foresight. “The Jewel of Kings” also serves as the May birthstone. Whatever its supposed mystical properties, this gem has long been regarded as a superior jewel. Rare and beautiful, emerald’s stunning green colour has also brought it an honoured status amongst cultures world wide.
Our vibrant antique Edwardian ring features a stunning bright green faceted emerald set into a 18ct and platinum daisy design. The emerald is surrounded by six diamonds with milgrain detailing. The emerald stands out with a bold pop of colour.
The ring was made by A.W. Crosbee & Co from Birmingham, England. The company was established in 1902 until the 1940s.
