14" Necklace - fits just around then like a chocker.

16" Necklace - will fall around the base of the neck similar to a collar. The fall of the necklace will depend on the individual size of the wearers neck.

18" Necklace - will fall below the throat at the collarbone.

20" Necklace - will fall a few inches below the collar bone, this length is perfect for a lower neckline.

22" Necklace - will fall below a standard neckline.

24" Necklace - will fall below a standard neckline..

36" Necklace - will fall bellow the bust.

Description

Antique Victorian rolled gold glass locket. This pendant is very unusual, glass lockets are not common to find. Rolled gold is a thin layer of gold on a base metal and fused together by heating. The pendant hangs from a new 9ct gold chain.

The bale of the locket unscrews, loosening the glass panes allowing you to place a picture, lock of hair or a thin momento would be able to fit into this locket.

Victorian, 1837-1901

HALLMARKS

The pendant has the words 'ROLLED GOLD PLATE' on the underside of the piece.

MEASUREMENT

The pendant hangs from a new 9ct yellow gold chain measuring 18". The locket is in excellent condition, measuring 2.9cm / 1.1" (excluding the bale) in diameter.

CONDITION

The pendant is in good condition, there is slight wear on the metal as shown in the pictures. One side of the glass has a slight chip in the glass. The locket hangs from a 9ct yellow gold 18" / 45.7cm chain.
