The Victorian believed Coral would protect you from evil, traditionally children would wear coral necklaces and it was thought to ward off diseases, illnesses, evil spirits and danger. Naples Italy were the main sources of Coral. Coral was the favourite Christening present for the Victorians.
Our Victorian antique ring features a large smooth oval dark orange Coral. This beautiful Coral is set in an 18ct yellow gold setting with twisted rope detailing.
