This finely crafted antique watch chain dates to 1900, beautifully made in solid sterling silver. Traditionally designed to secure a gentleman’s pocket watch, the chain would have been attached to a waistcoat, allowing the watch to rest neatly in the top pocket — a hallmark of classic Victorian style.
Each link is stamped with the sterling lion passant, confirming its solid silver construction, while the T-bar and Albert clasp are hallmarked with the maker’s mark A&S, the lion passant, and the date letter ‘A’, indicating the year 1900.
