This charming Victorian heart locket captures the sentimentality and craftsmanship of the 19th century. Crafted in warm 9ct yellow gold, its softly puffed heart form is delicately engraved with a foliate motif framed by a decorative zigzag border — a design full of romantic symbolism and light-catching texture.
Made in 9ct yellow gold back and front, both the front and reverse panels are solid gold, while the inner framework is formed from brass. This traditional Victorian technique was favoured for its strength, allowing the wearer to enjoy the beauty of gold where it matters most while keeping the piece durable.
