Antique Victorian 9ct rose gold locket necklace. The locket is engraved on the front and plain on the back. The locket hangs from a new 9ct rose gold chain. The locket is 9ct gold back and front, meaning the interior is not gold although the front and back of the piece are 9ct gold. Often lockets are made with brass interiors for strength for the moving parts.
