Antique Victorian earrings featuring two round faceted Citrine gemstones set into a gilt setting. The earring wires are new 9ct yellow gold. The gemstone is framed by a chain design.
Citrine gemstones are transparent and are often heat treated to intensify their colour, the name comes from the French word for lemon. Citrine is the birthstone for November and it also commemorates the thirtieth anniversary.
