Description
Antique Victorian gemstone star brooch featuring garnet gemstones set into silver. Each garnet gemstone has been cut to reflect the light, the stones are deep red, changing in colour as light moves around them.
Garnets were used extensively in all different designs of Victorian jewellery, bracelets, rings, brooches and elaborate necklaces, they represent the birthstone of January.
