Reserved - Antique Victorian Gilt Fob Locket Necklace
Description
Antique Victorian fob featuring beautiful ornate detailing on the frame and bail of the piece. On the front of the fob there is a glass frame which opens with a hinge. A picture, stones or hair can be placed in this frame securely. The back of the fob has a stunning textured pattern which catches the light.
A fob of this style would have been attached to a gentleman's pocket watch chain with a picture or lock of hair in it. The pendant hangs from a new 9ct yellow gold chain.
HALLMARKS
The piece is unmarked, it is made of gold gilt on a base metal.

Victorian (1837-1901), England.
MEASUREMENTS
The piece measures 4cm / 1.5" in height and 2.7cm / 1" in width. The necklace measures 45.72cm / 18" in length.
CONDITION
The fob is in excellent antique condition. Please note the the clear frame has been replaced with plastic not glass.
