Antique Victorian ring featuring four star set seed pearls set in 9ct rose gold. Underneath the setting of the pearls there is a small recess which would likely have held a class pain with hair, indicating this ring would have been a mourning ring.
Seed pearls in the Victorian era were associated with a number of symbols such as innocence, purity, humility and harmony.
