Vintage Art Deco Ruby Pearl 18ct Gold Ring
Description
Art Deco five pearl ring featuring beautiful rubies set into an ornate 18ct yellow gold setting. The ring has a number of marks indicating the piece was hallmarked in Birmingham, England in 1920 from 18ct yellow gold.
Ruby is the birthstone for July, it is the colour of love, anger, passion and fury. It was believed those who wore rubies were bestowed good fortune, throughout history rubies were worn by emperors and kings. Still to this day we value the gemstone just as highly. The ruby is considered one of the four most precious gemstones in the world alongside Sapphire, Emerald and Diamond.
