Edwardian 1910 charm necklace, featuring a Doll set in 15ct yellow gold. This charming Doll features an enamel head and articulated arms and legs, the piece has excellent detail. The charm hangs from a new 9ct yellow gold chain.
HISTORY & ORIGIN
The piece is crafted from 15ct gold which was introduced between 1854-1932 in Victorian, England. The style of the doll was called a Peg Wooden Doll also known as Dutch dolls, a type of wooden doll from the Netherlands and Germany.

The charm is in good antique condition, the enamel has worn away on the left eye. All of the joints work perfectly.
