Edwardian 1910 charm necklace, featuring a Doll set in 15ct yellow gold. This charming Doll features an enamel head and articulated arms and legs, the piece has excellent detail. The charm hangs from a new 9ct yellow gold chain.
HISTORY & ORIGIN
The piece is crafted from 15ct gold which was introduced between 1854-1932 in Victorian, England. The style of the doll was called a Peg Wooden Doll also known as Dutch dolls, a type of wooden doll from the Netherlands and Germany.
