Victorian antique garnet gold crescent moon brooch. This elegant brooch features garnet gemstones set into a crescent moon. Garnets are the birthstone of January, it is thought to be a stone of love and passion, awakening creativity, positive energy and self-confidence. In the Victorian era the crescent moon symbolised new beginnings and rebirth.
The brooch is in excellent condition, measuring 2cm / 0.7" in length and 1.9cm / 0.6" in height.
