Victorian brooch set c.1837-1901, the brooch are set in brass tone metal with claw set paste stones. The crescent brooch and double circle brooch have been paired together, they compliment one another in style and size.
Crescent Brooch - In the Victorian era, a crescent had multiple meanings such as 'starting over' and 'new beginnings'.
Double Circle Brooch
Circles in the Victorian era were associated with eternity.
MEASUREMENTS
The crescent brooch measures 3cm / 1.2" with a drop of 2.3cm / 0.8". The circle brooch measures 2.5cm / 1" in length and 1.2cm / 0.4".
