Vintage 1920s/1930s 9ct Gold Hat Pins & Original Packaging
Description
Vintage 1920s -1930s hat pins featuring two 9ct gold balls set onto steel stems. The identical pair of stick pins also have their original packaging. On the packet, it says 'HAT PINS 9ct GOLD. BRITISH MADE. STEEL STEMS.
Hat pins would have been used to secure a ladies hat in place, the pins would be perfect for that very use. We have supplied the pins with new pin stoppers so they could be used as brooches.
Hat pins have been worn since the Middle Ages although the most popular era they were worn was between the 1880's and the 1920's.
MEASUREMENTS
The pin measures 11.4cm / 4.5" in length and 0.5cm / 0.2" at the widest point.
CONDITION
The pins are in good vintage condition.
