Vintage 1920's Chatelaine mirror necklace set in silver. The mirror features beautiful engravings of a bow surrounded by flowers, giving the mirror a French feel. The mirror unfortunately is no longer visible, over time it has darkened giving an iridescent look. This stunning mirror hangs from a vintage silver chain.
The piece has a number of hallmarks, some of which have worn away, it is visible the piece has a 'Lion' and the letter 'V' indicating the piece was hallmarked in 1920-1921 and it is made from Sterling Silver.
MEASUREMENTS
The mirror measures 8.4cm / 3.3" in length and 3.7cm / 1.4" in width. The necklace measures 53cm / 20.8".
CONDITION
The mirror has a number of small dents, although these do not detract from its beauty.
