20" Necklace - will fall a few inches below the collar bone, this length is perfect for a lower neckline.

Description

Vintage 1920s Art Deco necklace featuring bohemian Czech pink, blue, green and orange glass stones set into a silver setting. The pendant hangs from a rolled gold chain as indicated by the 'RG' on the clasp.

CZECH & BOHEMIAN GLASS

Bohemia played an important role in costume jewellery. Bohemian costume jewellers pioneered cut-glass imitation gemstones and pearls. Bohemia gemstones where such good quality they rivalled beads produced in Venice during the 1920s.

MEASUREMENT:

The pendant measures 5.6cm / 2.2" in height and 2.7cm / 1" in width. The chain measures 40cm / 15.7" in length.

CONDITION:

The necklace is in excellent vintage condition.
