Emerald mines have been found to date back as far as Queen Cleopatra. Emerald symbolism encompasses not only royalty but also wit, eloquence, and foresight. “The Jewel of Kings” also serves as the May birthstone. Whatever its supposed mystical properties, this gem has long been regarded as a superior jewel. Rare and beautiful, emerald’s stunning green colour has also brought it an honoured status amongst cultures world wide.
Vintage 1930s triple gemstone ring featuring a 0.39ct square Princess cut Emerald flanked by two 0.21ct white diamonds totalling 0.42ct. The diamonds and gemstone are in excellent quality. The ring is set in 18ct yellow gold.
