Layer with colour with our vintage 1930s Iris glass necklaces. Iris glass has these beautiful stripes of pink, blue and green colour going through the beads.
The drop necklace has rolled gold. Rolled gold necklaces were popular from 1914 until the late 1940's. These necklaces were handmade, providing work for injured soldiers returning from the war. Rolled gold is a thin layer of gold on a base metal and fused together by heating.

The round stone necklace measures 44.45cm / 17.5" in length and 0.7cm / 0.3" in width. The drop necklace measures 45.7cm / 18" in length.
