Vintage 1940's red twist necklace featuring multiple strands of bright red intertwined twisted beads. This piece of jewellery has never been worn and it was made in the Czech Republic.
CZECH & BOHEMIAN GLASS
Bohemia played an important role in costume jewellery. Bohemian costume jeweller's pioneered cut-glass imitation gemstones and pearls. Bohemia gemstones where such good quality they rivalled beads produced in Venice during the 1920s.
MEASUREMENTS
The necklaces measures 63.5cm / 25" in length and approximately 1cm / 0.3" in width.
CONDITION
The necklace is in excellent vintage condition, it has never been worn.
