Necklace Length Guide

14" Necklace - fits just around then like a chocker.

16" Necklace - will fall around the base of the neck similar to a collar. The fall of the necklace will depend on the individual size of the wearers neck.

18" Necklace - will fall below the throat at the collarbone.

20" Necklace - will fall a few inches below the collar bone, this length is perfect for a lower neckline.

22" Necklace - will fall below a standard neckline.

24" Necklace - will fall below a standard neckline..

36" Necklace - will fall bellow the bust.

Description

Vintage sterling silver jewellery box hand made in 1947 in England. This beautiful box has two part which seperate, the inside of the piece is silver gilt on the bottom half.

The top half of the pot is hallmarked with a lion and the letter 'W', indicated the piece was hallmarked in 1946. The bottom of the pot is hallmarked C.W, 'S', Anchor, Lion, W, indicating the piece was hallmarked in Birmingham 1946 by the makers C.W.

This silver box would be the perfect engagement box.

MEASUREMENTS

The box measures 2.5cm / 0.9" in height and 4cm / 1.5" in width.

CONDITION

The box is in excellent vintage condition.
