Vintage 1950s 22ct Gold Wedding Ring
Description
Wedding bands have been used in wedding ceremonies since Ancient Egypt. Ancient Egypt considered the circle to be a symbol of eternity, and the ring served to signify the perpetual love of the spouses.
Our bright 22ct wedding band is heavy is weight with a smooth 'D' shaped band. The ring has a number of marks indicating the piece was hallmarked in 1954-55 in London, England from 22ct yellow gold. This high carat gold band is very traditional and would look beautiful worn alone or tucked next to an engagement ring.
On the inside of the band it has the inscription 'Fidelity'.
