Vintage 1950's Aurora Borealis glass necklaces featuring graduated round faceted Aurora Borealis glass beads in a unique silver grey colour. The necklace is secured with an elaborate clasp.
Christian Dior collaborated with Swarovski creating the Aurora Borealis stone. A polychrome metallic coating giving the glass stone a rainbow iridescent quality.
MEASUREMENTS
The necklace is measures 46cm / 18" in length, and the largest stone is 1.4cm in diameter.
CONDITION
The necklace is in good vintage condition, some of the aurora borealis coating is slightly worn althoug does not detract from the beauty of the necklace.
