Vintage 1960s Silver Gilt Jade Bow Egg Pendant Necklace
Description
Vintage 1960s silver gilt bow egg. The jade pendant features a silver gilt bow wrapped around the jade egg. The 9ct gold chain attaches around the loop of the bow and secures with a bolt ring clasp.
In Eastern culture Jade means a precious stone with five virtues, benevolence(仁), righteousness(義), wisdom(智), brave(勇) and honest and clean(潔).
MEASUREMENTS
The pendant measures 2.1cm / 0.8" in length and 2.4cm / 0.9" in height.
The pendant hangs from a new 9ct yellow gold chain and measures 45cm / 18" in length.
CONDITION
The pendant is in very good vintage condition with slight gilt wear on the bow.
