Vintage 1960's designer necklace by Trifari, featuring faux turquoise and pearl flowers set along side two tone brushed and shiny metal leaves. The necklace has heavy in weight and excellent in quality.
ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Trifari is an eminent jewellery company of the USA starting in 1910 to 2000. Celebrated jewellery designer Alfred Philippe who in c.1930 left Van Cleef & Arpels to join Trifari, a New York based company who became the largest costume jewellery maker in the United States. It produced many styles and prices of jewellery, covering different designs with quality craftsmanship. Trifari also created real pieces of jewellery for private clients including Hollywood stars, Broadway musicals and the US First Lady Mamie Eisenhower for the Presidential Inaugural Balls of 1953 and 1957. A truly diverse jewellery brand.
MEASUREMENTS
The necklace is 34cm / 13" - 39cm / 15" in length, it has a weighted adjustable chain. The necklace is 0.8cm in height and 7mm in width.
CONDITION
The necklace is in excellent vintage condition.
