Need money in an emergency, we have just the charm for you. Our vintage 1970s gold charm is wonderfully playful. The charm has a plastic casing contains an old one pound note folded inside. This piece is a wonderful memento of the pre-decimal era. One pound note charms were referred to as 'Emergency Money' charms, the idea being you broke the charm to open the piece when you needed some money.
The charm hangs from a new 9ct yellow gold chain. The charm has a number of marks indicating the piece was hallmarked in London, England in 1978 from 9ct yellow gold.
