Description
Our sumptuous vintage 1970s statement ring featuring a smooth rich purple Amethyst cabochon gemstone. The Amethyst has distinct 18ct gold claws with a halo of bright white diamonds. The piece is set in 18ct white and yellow gold.
The ring has a number of marks indicating the piece was hallmarked in London, England in 1971, made by Bravingtons, a famous London jewellers located in Pentonville Road, Kings Cross (as shown in the pictures).
Legend has it Amethyst will keep the wearer clear-headed and quick witted in battle and in business affairs.
