Vintage 1972 Sterling Silver Ivy Bangle Bracelet
Description
Vintage 1970s bangle bracelet set in sterling silver featuring ornate ivy engravings on one side of the bracelet. The back and the inside of the bracelet is smooth, the bracelet is heavy and solid to touch. The piece has a number of hallmarks indicating the piece was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1972 in sterling silver.
In the Victorian era, ivy decoration symbolised everlasting, love, marriage, eternal faithfulness and friendship.

MEASUREMENTS
The bangle has an internal diameter of 6cm / 2.4" by 5.2cm / 2". The bracelet measures 17.5cm / 6.8" in length. The new safely chain is 8.5cm / 3.3".
