Ruby is the birthstone for July, it is the colour of love, anger, passion and fury. It was believed those who wore rubies were bestowed with good fortune. throughout history rubies were worn by emperors and kings.

Vintage 1980s ring featuring three rubies and two diamonds set into an 18ct yellow gold ornate band. The ring has a number of hallmarks indicating the piece was marked in 1989.
