Vintage 1980s Givenchy gold plated round brooch. The piece is stamped 'Givenchy' on the back of the brooch.
ABOUT THE DESIGNER
The House of Givenchy opened its doors in Paris 1952 by Hubert De Givenchy, the fashion capital of the world. It produced high quality costume jewellery throughout the 1950's and 1960's. These designs were simple and elegant with some pieces on a larger scale. Givenchy incorporated the use of gold plating, crystals and lucite in their designs.
MEASUREMENTS
The earrings measure 4.6cm / 1.8" in diameter.
CONDITION
The brooch is in excellent vintage condition.
