Vintage 1990s 18ct yellow gold ring, featuring five graduated diamonds set into a ornate band. The ring has a number of hallmarks indicating this piece was hallmarked in London in 1994.
This style of the ring would have been an engagement ring, giving diamonds as an engagement / wedding ring dates back to the middle ages. Diamonds symbolise innocence and love, they are the birthstone of April.
