M SOLD | Vintage 1995 Silver Stamp Case Necklace
Description
Vintage 1990s silver stamp case. The pendant is engraved on the back and the front. The case was originally designed to store stamps however it would be perfect for a picture or momento similar to a locket.
We think a miniature love letter would be incredibly romantic. The golden age of these little cases is said to be between 1890 and 1915. The Victorian designers made many different types and patterns.
The pendant has a number of marks indicating the piece was hallmarked in London, England in 1995. It was made abroad and imported into the UK.
