Art Deco 1919 Medallion Conversion Bracelet
Description
Antique Edwardian sterling silver medallion bracelet featuring ornate engraved detailing dating back to 1919-1920. In the centre of the piece there is a space where an engraving could go, as well as the back of the pendant. The pendant has a good weight with a smooth round centre and cut out detailing.
The piece has a number of hallmarks indicating the piece was hallmarked in 1919-1920 set in sterling silver from Birmingham, England.
The bracelet has been converted from a pendant into bracelet, the piece has that classic antique design. The medal would have been worn on a pocket watch chain possibly awarded for a sports achievement or for decorative purposes.
