Vintage 1930's rolled gold Art Deco necklace featuring striped Iris faceted glass beads. Rolled gold necklaces were popular from 1914 until the late 1940's. These necklaces were handmade, providing work for injured soldiers returning from the war. Rolled gold is a thin layer of gold on a base metal and fused together by heating.
MEASUREMENTS
The necklace measures 42.5cm / 16.7" in length and 0.5"/ 1.4cm at the widest point.
CONDITION
The necklace is in excellent vintage condition.
