Vintage Art Deco Black Wedding Cake Drop Earrings
Description
Vintage 1930s 'Wedding Cake' Venetian Murano glass earrings. The beautiful black beads are decorated with ornate gold and coloured flowers. Wedding cake beads known as Fiorato (decorated with glass overlays featuring roses, swirls and dots) are made using the lamp-work method. The lamp-work method is the most time-consuming method of glass bead-making, as each bead must be formed individually. The earrings hang from a gold earring wire.
MEASUREMENTS
The earrings measures 3cm / 1.2" in height and 1.4cm / 0.5" in diameter.
CONDITION
The earrings is in excellent condition.
