Vintage Art Deco 1930's Gold 'Adelaide' Brooch
Description
Vintage 1930s rolled gold metal and mother of pearl brooch with the name Adelaide inscribed. This type of brooch was typically given to a girl from her sweetheart, often a soldier or sailor before he left for duty, as a token of affection. The name 'Adelaide' is mounted in a rolled gold wire on a mother of pearl base and secured with a rolled gold open 'c' clasp.

This piece in very good vintage condition and measures approximately 5cm in length and 1cm in width.
