Vintage Jade charm necklace, featuring a charming dark green Elephant. The elephant has been carved from a piece of Jade. Jade elephants are considered good fortune.
Jade is the gemstone for the 12th wedding anniversary. In China, a pierced jade disc is a symbol of heaven. The Chinese character for jade is one of the oldest in written Chinese, dating to 2950 BC. It is the ultimate "Dream Stone," revered in ancient cultures, as well as today, to access the spiritual world, gain insight into ritualistic knowledge, encourage creativity, and dream-solve.
