Antique Victorian (1837-1901) Gold Shell Brooch
Description
Unusual antique Victorian clam style shell brooch. This vintage shell brooch has a mother of pearl finish, with a gold bead simulating a pearl. The shell is held in place with a silver claw setting and fastens with an open 'c' clasp. The fastening has a silver mark stamped on to it and is in good vintage condition. The shell measures approximately 3cm in width and 3cm in length.
