Description

This exquisite antique baby rattle dates to 1906, crafted in sterling silver with a smooth elongated body and delicate chiming bells. The elegant rattle is finished with a lustrous mother of pearl handle, giving it a timeless, tactile appeal. Fully hallmarked for Chester, England, with the maker’s mark WA (William Aitken), Lion Passant (sterling), and date letter ‘F’ for 1906.

Originally designed as a cherished Christening or newborn gift, this rattle remains a beautiful keepsake and family heirloom. While historically functional, today it is intended as a decorative collector’s piece, perfect for marking the arrival of a new baby or as a sentimental antique gift.
