Vintage 1930s Emerald Glass & Marcasite Silver Ring
Description
Vintage 1930s silver ring featuring large marcasites surrounding an emerald green glass stone. The setting of the ring is sterling silver and the band of the ring is 9ct gold as indicated by the hallmarks. Marcasites are actually Pyrite also known as Fools Gold. It was used in jewellery due to it's ability to catch the light, giving a diamond effect.
